Start from Kuressaare, turn onto Vätta road and let the journey carry you –
the silhouettes of islets, stone fences, junipers, and the sea will accompany you every kilometer.
Our tip: bring a picnic and stop somewhere along the way – Vätta is not a place to simply pass through,
but a place to pause and stay for a moment.

Ride to Sõrve – a spark-filled adventure in southern Saaremaa
If you’re looking for freedom, peace, and stunning views, then head toward Sõrve.
This is a journey through villages rich in history, juniper pastures, and a straight coastal road that takes you directly to the tip of the Sõrve Peninsula – where the sky and sea become one.
With an electric bike, it all becomes easy. The wind may blow, the road may feel long, but you just enjoy. The ride is quiet, smooth, and full of spark – both literally and figuratively.
On the way, you’ll encounter:
Loode oak forest – One of the oldest natural forests in Saaremaa, a rare and lush growing site
Nasva – A fishing village and small town by the Nasva River; with luck, you can grab freshly smoked fish straight from the oven
Mändjala sand beach – A wide sandy beach, perfect for resting or swimming
Tehumardi memorial – A monument commemorating one of the bloodiest battles in Saaremaa during WWII
Salme viking burial site – Salme is the world’s oldest known Viking warrior burial site
Salme bread – Enjoy local bakery products
Lõmala–Kaugatoma heritage road – A scenic gravel road along Saaremaa’s western coast. One of Europe’s rare heritage roads, possibly museum-worthy, and best discovered by electric bike.
